Democrats excel at sound bites and setting the narrative for a situation. Mostly they excel because the MSM repeats their narrative over and over until people began to accept it as truth.

Sensitive to the criticism of  Obama in front of a Che mural, doing The Wave at a baseball game surrounded by despots, and dancing the Tango while Europe blows u, his supporters have put out a poster of Reagan with some communist and Bush with some despot. Honestly, I don’t remember which despot but it really doesn’t matter because:

1] Che was never Head of State in Cuba. It’s one thing to go to Russia, where a pic near Lenin’s tomb is mandatory since he is seen as the Father of Modern Russia, and was the head of the nation. Refusing to have a pic in front of his tomb would have been as insulting as a Russian Premier refusing to stand in front of a statue of George Washington here. It’s not an insult to America if a visiting head doesn’t take a pic in front of the Jefferson Davis or Crazy Horse memorial. A GOP president might stand in front of a Stalin or Lenin statue but no one thinks he need stand in front of [KGB head] Beria’s homeplace. Che was the Enforcer, a murderous thug who lined thousands of Cubans against a wall and shot them – that was his modus operandus – because they opposed the Castro communist takeover of Cuba. Often that opposition was merely vocal or a printed pamphlet. Che liked to kill and he shot whoever he wanted for whatever reason. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/215531/che-chic-jay-nordlinger

2] If you look at a video of the Che photo shoot, there were several minutes involved in the setup and the crowd, including Obama, deliberately moves from one position to walk around the plaza to get in front of the mural. Obama, in fact, raises his arms and leads others in front of the mural. IOW, he had ample opportunity to position himself in the plaza w/o standing directly in front of Che. Everyone – the Cubans, the photographers, even Obama clearly understood the significance of the photo.

3] There was no need for Obama to pander to the Cubans, he had already handed them a huge propaganda victory by going there, a huge economic victory by allowing American companies to work with the communist regime, and didn’t ask the slightest concession in return, not even the extradition of American criminals who had hidden there for year.

4] Nobody ever thought Reagan or Bush was sympathetic to communist China or communist Russia or even a Caribbean dictator but there’s always been questions with Obama and the far left. In 2008 an official Obama campaign office was photographed with large Che posters on display during the presidential election but the MSM ignored it and Obama didn’t denounce it. The Obama family “best friends” Beyoncé and JayZ went to Cuba last year – an obvious prelude to the Obama visit – and they wore Che tee shirts while there. RadChic is often stupid, after all, Che despised the African race.

BTW, I thought it was a sound decision for Obama to go to Argentina and I didn’t think he needed to cancel the Argentinian trip – he shouldn’t have been in Cuba period – but for someone who’s supposedly so media-savvy, the photo optics were horrendous. Grinning like a jackass at a ball game seated beside a dictator and with FARC members in attendance in Cuba plus that tango in Argentina. Didn’t it occur to Obama or ValJar or someone to ask the Argentinians – an important nation to us and a chance to mend relations with a new president there – to simply tone things down a bit?

And who knew Obama was such a lousy dancer? He looked downright clumsy, despite the support of an expert tango partner.

This is a short  vid showing Obama and the group moving to get in front of the Che mural, there’s a longer vid out there showing how long the move really was. Plenty of time for a US president to suggest just taking the pic there on the lot instead of moving in front of a mass murderer.

Belgium is no surprise if you’ve read some of my posts from previous years. Europe played the liberal, tolerant, multicultural game to the extreme. They’ve allowed far too many Muslims into their countries, molley-coddled them to an incredible degree, been too embarrassed to stand up for their own cultures, given them welfare galore, allowed them to have no-go-Muslim zones, gone into debt with anemic economic growth, furthered socialism, and reduced their military in order to afford that great quality of life ‘cradle to grave’ nanny state entitlement. Worst of all, they’ve tolerated increasingly violent anti-Semitism to the point that Jews are fleeing Europe in droves, a la the 1930’s, while gussying up to the worst Arab dictatorships. Ditto all this in Scandinavia.

There’s so many good anti-AGW cartoons out there that it’s hard to pick a ‘best of’ but this is very good.

If you look through my blog posts of the past year or more, you’ll see repeated links to harassment, persecution and violence against Jews or elements of the Jewish community, including synagogues, throughout Europe, especially in France, and in Scandinavia, especially in Sweden.

How much of a role does anti-Semitism play in the past tolerance of Europe toward Muslims? How much of a role does the Palestinian-Israeli conflict play in the global war on terrorism? How much of a role does the BDS movement – and other militant antiIsrael groups play in the attacks in France?

For the past couple of years, European and Scandinavian Jews have been fleeing their homes there for other nations, mostly Israel. It’s been most pronounced in France and Malmo, Sweden. It’s been ignored by those nations, even though the Jews have blamed the rising aggression of the ever-increasing Muslim population.

If Europe/Scandinavia isn’t safe for Jews, then it isn’t safe. Why can’t we learn this lesson?

How safe are Jews here? Are the BDS movement and the increasing shout-downs and intimidation on campus from the likes of Students for Justice in Palestine the shadow of worse to come? Why isn’t this a matter for national concern?

The Bataclan has been Jewish-owned for years; the US band playing there Friday night just returned from playing in Israel, despite calls to not play there. Coincidence? http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/11/paris-bataclan-theater-was-bds-and-terrorist-target-for-years/

Let’s look at it logically. I go back a long way with both Kerry and a coal bucket. As a typical cotton-filled brain of a college student, I shallowly opposed the Vietnam War and I recall when Kerry became a liberal hero.

I accepted that until I saw him debate John O’Neill on the Dick Cavett show and I was stunned that O’Neill was at least as sharp as Kerry and sounded much more edgy while Kerry was kinda blah, repeating the same blah. One thing I recall is that O’Neill took great exception to Kerry’s statements that we were bombing Cambodia, which would have then been illegal. O’Neill challenged him that if he knew fliers engaged in that, he should turn them in but if it was mere gossip then he should shut up. Kerry did not put up or shut up, he blathered but didn’t repeat it as often until much later.

Kerry called the Vietnam military “baby killers.” The jerk. I’ve got a bunch of family and friends who served there and that was a disgraceful remark.

Kerry famously threw his war medals into the fountain in DC but when running for president as a patriot in 2004 declared he didn’t throw his but others away. Yeh, that’s excellent. The guy who introduced him at the 2004 DNC convention in Boston? That’s his good friend who put him up for the Purple Heart. That guy has had his own medal revoked by the US Navy and he’s is some sort of corruption scandal.

Remember a few years back when he insulted the military by saying if young people don’t go to college and study, they’ll end up in the military?

Now he understands why terrorists slaughtered Charlie Hebdo cartoonists. Yeh he’s a real idiot. Don’t you just hate the way he, like so many Democrats, are patriots and troop supporters when it’s politically advantageous to be and critics when it’s advantageous to not be seen as ‘bellicose’?

As for the coal bucket, I have fond memories of that, having lived with coal/wood stoves through much of my childhood. It’s true they don’t speak or move much, but they faithfully do what they’re supposed to do, haul and pour coal. I’m pretty sure Kerry can’t function without all the people – paid by the taxpayers or Teresa – keeping him alive.

Verdict: Kerry is dumber.

It seems that all/most Centers for Islamic Studies in the US have outside funding and are virulently anti-Israel. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/383827/dukes-new-director-islamic-studies-compares-israeli-crimes-holocaust-spencer-case

When I think of the “radical transformation” of America under Obama, the acceptance of the terror group Hamas is one of the most amazing changes. How can we be allies with Hamas? How can we desert Israel in favor of Hamas? http://www.timesofisrael.com/from-tunnels-to-r-160s-a-primer-on-hamas-and-its-deadly-capabilities/
