If you look through my blog posts of the past year or more, you’ll see repeated links to harassment, persecution and violence against Jews or elements of the Jewish community, including synagogues, throughout Europe, especially in France, and in Scandinavia, especially in Sweden.

How much of a role does anti-Semitism play in the past tolerance of Europe toward Muslims? How much of a role does the Palestinian-Israeli conflict play in the global war on terrorism? How much of a role does the BDS movement – and other militant antiIsrael groups play in the attacks in France?

For the past couple of years, European and Scandinavian Jews have been fleeing their homes there for other nations, mostly Israel. It’s been most pronounced in France and Malmo, Sweden. It’s been ignored by those nations, even though the Jews have blamed the rising aggression of the ever-increasing Muslim population.

If Europe/Scandinavia isn’t safe for Jews, then it isn’t safe. Why can’t we learn this lesson?

How safe are Jews here? Are the BDS movement and the increasing shout-downs and intimidation on campus from the likes of Students for Justice in Palestine the shadow of worse to come? Why isn’t this a matter for national concern?

The Bataclan has been Jewish-owned for years; the US band playing there Friday night just returned from playing in Israel, despite calls to not play there. Coincidence? http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/11/paris-bataclan-theater-was-bds-and-terrorist-target-for-years/

It seems that all/most Centers for Islamic Studies in the US have outside funding and are virulently anti-Israel. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/383827/dukes-new-director-islamic-studies-compares-israeli-crimes-holocaust-spencer-case

When I think of the “radical transformation” of America under Obama, the acceptance of the terror group Hamas is one of the most amazing changes. How can we be allies with Hamas? How can we desert Israel in favor of Hamas? http://www.timesofisrael.com/from-tunnels-to-r-160s-a-primer-on-hamas-and-its-deadly-capabilities/

Although he’s made some mistakes, I like Rubio a lot and hope he will be on the GOP ticket in 2016, preferably as VP. this is a wonderful speech, courtesy  http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/03/marco-rubio-in-epic-defense-of-israel/#more . It’s 15 minutes and worth every second of your time  :

I don’t like our POTUS acting like a petulant thin-skinned punk over Israel, even though this is the way he’s acted his whole presidency. The Chicago Way doesn’t seem to be working against Israel, maybe that’s because they’re in a fight for their very survival.

Our president, behaving like any sociology grad student at Columbia. He’s not a socialist, he’s not a Democrat, he’s too shallow to be anything but a “radicalized” – his words – student at a uber-liberal university, swallowing uber-liberal propaganda whole, without any thought or discussion of opposing views. Spitting out anti-Semitism, anti-Israel hate is par for the course[s] for a shallow thinker like Obama.

I remember this comment very well, although the MSM obligingly ignored it. In 2008 during the election, Jesse Jackson stated he had been involved with Obama enough to know that if elected, a President Obama would end any favoritism toward Israel and radically transform our relationship with that nation. https://jewagainstobama.wordpress.com/2008/10/14/jesse-jackson-on-what-to-expect-with-obama-as-president/

In response, the Obama campaign denied this and noted Jesse wasn’t an official part of their campaign, although he had visited black communities and churches on Obama’s behalf. After his statement revealing Obama’s intent toward Israel/Jews, Jackson was taken off the campaign trail and not seen again until election night victory celebrations. Recall that the Jackson and Obama families  had been neighbors and close friends for years. http://www.haaretz.com/news/obama-camp-dismisses-jesse-jackson-s-israel-policy-remarks-1.255449

Free the Khaladi tape!

In other Israel news:

WTH is Obama doing? This isn’t some game, some political war, the words from his administration are terrifying. http://www.whitehousedossier.com/2015/03/24/mcdonough-occupation-lasted-50-year/

Obama says Israel spied on Iran nuke talks and told the Congress what was happening. Just let all that sink in. Israel denies the spying but Obama is saying the US spied on Israel to learn that Israel spied on the Iranian nuclear bomb talks and told an American Congress, which is supposed to vote on any treaty, what was going on.

Obama’s entire administration is being reckless, he just assumes the Chicago Way will once again help him win.  As he says, “hook or crook.” http://www.michellesmirror.com/2015/03/by-hook-or-by-crook.html#.VRGf67B_k5s

More craziness, especially now. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2015/03/top-obama-official-reading-koran-reminds-me-of-quintessentially-american-values/

If it came from the United Nations, you knew it would be anti-Israel anti-Zionist and anti-Jew. Extra points if it’s anti-American also. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/03/19/top-violator-women-rights-around-world-it-israel-says-un/

Ever so quietly, Iran and Hezbollah are taken off the US list of terrorists. This is an ominous change at this time. http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2015/03/iran-goes-missing.php
