If you think it’s okay – in fact you think we must – repeatedly break numerous laws of the United States, endanger our national security, spend vast ongoing amounts of money we don’t have on non-citizens, blatantly push this nation toward a constitutional crisis on separation of powers, abruptly force on America a new culture of values and mores while espousing the obviously failed culture of your old culture, refusing to melt your culture into the new melting pot that is America due to the superiority of your old country, accusing your new country of “owing you” everything including land and rights, raising serious doubt about how a nation can exist if it has no borders – all done in the cynical and open attempt to suddenly and without consent to bring people like you, your skin color, your heritage, your kind into a nation so you can dominate by numbers. Why do non-Hispanics support you? For the even more cynical attempt to permanently change the votes of this nation to favor one party, one kind of people – Hispanic Democrats.
If all this sounds harsh, then you must not be paying attention. These are the very words being used by Hispanic advocates and the Democratic Party. Why do non-Hispanic Democrats support this? Because elites – the wealthy, the powerful, the cronies – assume they will always have the upper hand of any power base. They own the media, they publish the papers, they own the radio and television and cable, they’ve run local/state politics forever [think Kennedy], they run the unions, they count the votes, they own many lucrative businesses [think Pelosi], they own huge amounts of land, they can hand over massive vote blocs [think Jesse Jackson or Richard Trumpka] and they always expect to come out on top.
They’re sure they can always manipulate the situation; they may be right. If you’re of the opinion that America and Americans should control the nation’s borders and we should know who’s coming in here and we should decide who does and doesn’t and when and how, you have to wonder if we can change what’s happening. Our only real power is the vote, and not by small margins that can be manipulated, but overwhelming voting that doesn’t stop with one successful election. If Democrats lose in November 2014 and lose big, we send a message and we may slow down Obama. Then we have to do the same in 2016. Our nation cannot withstand a President Hillary or Biden or Warren. We couldn’t believe how extreme the Democratic Party became and how many of its members have gone with it to the far left.
Put them into schools, that sounds so much better plus it gives money to the teacher unions and puts the illegals on a path to legal residency. So what if you’ve got a bunch of adults – some of whom are gang members – mixed up with minor children, real citizens. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/382483/adult-illegal-immigrants-posing-children-enroll-high-school-ryan-lovelace
Ill representative Luis Gutierrez gets on my last nerve. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/07/21/Luis-Gutierrez-to-La-Raza-Get-Amnesty-to-Punish-Americans-Against-Illegal-Immigration
Our punk president, so smart, no one can tell him anything. He knows more than his advisors, his speechwriters, the courts, the media, certainly more than Americans. He’ll do what he wants and you can’t stop him. http://www.ijreview.com/2014/07/158019-white-house-well-put-immigrants-wherever-want-wont-tell/
This is from last year and boy, does it fit. http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2013/03/your-juxtaposed-illegal-immigration.html
Remember the good old days when American doctors and hospitals donated their time and skills to foreigners needing help? Ahh, this isn’t like that. Illegal immigrants come here and have a “right” to any and all care, including a kidney transplant. Thanks to us, the taxpayers. Except they didn’t thank us, they demanded it. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/12/08/Illegal-Immigrant-Receives-Free-Kidney-Transplant
Lots of supporting photos here. Guess we’ll wait a few years until there’s a rash of drugs, murder and kidnappings then the Dems will demand lots of money to deal with the problem of illegal militia groups moving at will into the US. http://www.chron.com/news/local/article/Photos-show-border-militias-moving-across-Texas-5647487.php
All that jibberish from Obama and the Dems about the “brightest and best” coming to America. Thanks, Neil Diamond, but this ain’t them. They’re not sneaking into our nation to become successful Americans and leave the Mexican horrors and poverty behind; they’re coming into our nation to change America into Mexico. Open borders. Cause I’d like to teach the world to sing. Or we’re all brothers or some liberal chant. http://www.examiner.com/article/fifty-seven-percent-of-mexican-immigrants-on-welfare
Of course at first the Obama administration denied the Michelle Malkin report that illegals, including minors, were being shipped all across the nation. The MSM obliged by calling her racist. Now we find she was right all along. No need to apologize, she’s a conservative woman of color. http://twitchy.com/2014/07/13/one-month-later-msm-confirms-justablogger-michelle-malkins-scoop-on-illegal-alien-flights-to-mass-dhs-lies-exposed/
Her campaign rollout was so bad even the liberal KY Mitch-hating media couldn’t ignore it. She keeps saying goofy stuff when she strays from the written speeches but the media here pretty much ignore it. She’s buoyed by tons of celebrity money to run lots of ads. Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Warren are coming to provide gravitas and appeal to young and black and union voters. IOW, she’s Obama. Can all this outside support plus the media plus Big Dog save her?
I’m beginning to think no, although it’s still early in the season. I imagine Mitch will continue hitting her with ads that tie her to Obama but focus some on the advantages to Kentucky is the GOP takes over the Senate. He’s not talking that up much because 1. voters are in an anti-incumbent mood so don’t talk D.C. too much and 2. there’s no guarantee a GOP-held Senate would elect him Majority Leader by veering more toward a new-blood, tough-talking Cruz.
I also expect Mitch to focus on the Joe Manchin-problem: Redstate Dems owe their elections to the DNC, to celebrity donors, to union money and to big Obama-fundraising. That base might allow you a little – very little – leeway on a few – very few – items but they expect you to tote the line. The GOP base expects that from Mitch but let’s face it, Alison’s base is way more extreme and to the far left than his. Too bad for Grimes that this is shaping up to be more focused on foreign policy than expected and Obama is seen very weaker on that here in Kentucky.
BTW I think Bill Clinton is somewhat less popular than he used to be here and Hillary is even less popular. It’s not so much that we loved Hillary in 2008, it’s that we knew Obama would be the disaster that he’s proving to be. We were trying to do our part to stop his election. No buyer’s remorse here.
Here’s a roundup of some news on the Kentucky 2014 Senate race:
Cliff Notes for inexperienced and not-too-smart US Senate candidates:
Yeh that big ole Iron Dome keeps Hamas from popping out of tunnels. Or something. SDA has a link to a longer Lexington Herald article that happily ignores the gaffe while promoting her new office opening in Lexington. For some reason the Ashland Daily newspaper made that a front page story, with the obligatory young Alison with long hair, such a contrast to the old Muppet chinless balding white guy Mitch. http://www.smalldeadanimals.com/archives/if-women-ran-th-13.html#comments
“Obviously, Israel is one of our strongest allies in the Middle East, and she has the right to defend herself,” Grimes said. “But the loss of life, especially the innocent civilians in Gaza, is a tragedy. The Iron Dome has been a big reason why Israel has been able to withstand the terrorists that have tried to tunnel their way in.
She is indeed an “untested” candidate, much as Obama was or Rand Paul here. Perhaps she should have started in US House of Representatives or governor if it’s too big for her. The real difference here. Rand Paul has worked hard to gain creds and grew up in household conversations on a national and international level. His dad, of whom I’m not a fan, has been in the spotlight for many years while discussing serious national and global issues but Grimes grew up with a state manager of the Dem Party for a father, learning how to elect Dems, especially the Clintons. It’s very different. Another difference is the KY media was disturbed by Rand Paul’s lack of experience in political office. They’re as undisturbed by Grimes’ lack as they were by Obama’s lack. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/382939/cleaning-grimes-andrew-Johnson
I’m touched -touched – that the likes of Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eddie Murphy, Woody Allen and Barbra Streisand care so much about Kentucky that they’re shelling out money … to Alison Grimes. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/382939/cleaning-grimes-andrew-Johnson
It is indeed fair to blame Obama and his administration in conjunction with the Democratic Party for some, most or all of the ISIS mess in Iraq. Whether you agreed with the Iraq invasion under Bush, we did indeed have peace won at a great cost of lives and money. Obama and the Dems swept into office in 2008 by declaring Iraq an unnecessary war because the “real war” the one we should have fought was in Afghanistan. Oh yeah, that’s where we needed to be. Notice they didn’t deny that against all odds, against their sudden denials of support for the Iraq invasion – they invented that catchy chant of “Bush Lied, People Died” – against the world turning its back on us, the US got rid of a dictator who was a mass murderer, prevented that dictator from launching another war against its neighbors or a world war, and gave Iraq a chance at its own semblance of democracy.
Here, Bill Whittle says the US military keeps winning the war but the Democratic Party left forces us to keep losing the peace. If Obama and his people and the MSM weren’t so sure that Obama knows everything, he might actually learn something in his presidency. Hey, he’s just so smart, he’s bored with the presidency. That’s what Valerie Jarrett says.
