I wasn’t sure anyone scorned these ads as much as I do. Good grief, when that whiny girl talks about her car she named “Brad” I just about upchuck. Most of us who are adults understand that you get what you pay for when it comes to insurance or most anything else. Want full car replacement after a wreck? You can have that but you don’t get it by buying cheap basic auto insurance, you pay a bit more for it. If you don’t want to pay extra for it, then don’t whine if you have a wreck with your cheap basic auto insurance footing the bill.

You have no “right” to Cadillac insurance when you purchase a Chevy Cavalier plan.

Here’s one of the ads; be sure to follow the link to Michelle’s Mirror to read the commentary for the ads. Funny and on the mark

I know this will shock you. Turns out the co-organizer of the MillionStudentMarch lied about her family wealth and is a Marxist. Yea, what a gal. http://www.trevorloudon.com/2015/11/millionstudentmarch-marxist-1er-keely-mullen-lied-to-neil-cavuto/

Did you see the Neil Cavuto video of her stumbling and looking like a dazed deer when he asked her real questions about her goofy march goals?Did you just assume she was stupid? Maybe so but trying to appear like a normal struggling college student while lying your butt off and hiding your Marxist identity probably didn’t help.

Three things that stood out at me. One, she doesn’t blanch at the idea of taking 100% of the assets of the wealthy 1%. Plus, she doesn’t understand that if you seize 100% of the wealth of the 1% to simply pay student loan debt, we lose the tax monies they already spend to support our government. Lastly, the idea that those 1% would move to another country is incomprehensible to her.

If you missed it, here’s the original video:

How much did the TOTAL shutdown financially hurt the city? The other important question is: if computer models cannot accurately predict an occurrence within a 12-hour period, how can they predict long-term climate for 100 years? The answer, of course, is they can’t, they’ve never accurately predicted any climate and this is the first thing you should look for in any article on global warming: was is done with computer models?

So the NYC blizzard is a big bust, although the weather is awful on the New England coast. Mayor Bill De Blasio seemed to be enjoying himself yesterday shutting down everything for the ‘historic’ NYC blizzard. I guess it makes him look important and all Big Daddy, looking out for his city, unlike his recent remarks vilifying the police for making his biracial son scared to go out on the streets at night, afraid some white cop will up and shoot him for no reason since evidently De Blasio’s too dumb to realize his son is far more likely to get attacked by a young black man.

De Blasio’s also a big AGW freak but at least he didn’t shame himself yesterday like his fellow liberal Democrat mayor in Bridgeport, CT, who called Al Sharpton during his MSNBC farce of a show to commend him for working against climate change. Now that’s dumb on numerous levels. http://www.breitbart.com/video/2015/01/26/mayor-thanks-sharpton-for-climate-change-work-during-blizzard-report/

Kate at Small Dead Animals [link on my blogroll, http://smalldeadanimals.com ] is drawing attention to an old movie during a previous blizzard that’s striking not only because it’s a real blizzard – you can see the wind blowing and the piles of snow – but also because there’s lots of action. Nobody shut the city down. Were New Yorkers tougher then or simply free from nanny-state leaders?

It’s a short film [1:39]¬†and fun to watch. Be sure to watch it all

He doesn’t like us, that’s for sure. Our Bibles. Our guns. Our history of supporting the military itself by joining up when needed and supporting military action when our leaders say it’s needed. Our dislike of big government and central planning. Our fossil fuels. Our dislike of authority. Our low minority population, compared to places he’s liver, e.g. Chicago or Hawaii. Our independent voting record. Our emphasis on the individual. I think he hates us because we rejected him first; we knew who he was very quickly into the 2008 election. He’s too thin-skinned and narcissistic to handle rejection.
