I went to Kroger’s this afternoon and was shocked at the number of young women – yes, plenty of young men do it as well – leisurely shopping in pajamas. Perhaps I’m an old fart who doesn’t grasp changing culture as inevitably positive but let’s face it: All us old farts were reasonably well-dressed, exhibited good manners and appeared alert. Things were better back then and generally people acted better and more intelligently. . It’s okay to skank around when you’re a teen but at some point on the road to adulthood, how you look and act and showing manners is a sign of respect to yourself and others.
