He was called that aon Twitter after his speech. I was ready to like his speech and I was bowled over by it. Gracious to Obama – more than the name calling, insulting ‘go sit and wait while I eat’ Obama deserved – in the speech opening minutes, Netanyahu drove home the emotional ties between Israel and the United States as expected – nice shout out to the elderly but attentive Elie Weisel in the visitors’ gallery – but went way beyond that by making clear points about Iran and the deal on the table, especially the dreaded “sunset clause” that in 10 years would provide Iran with 190,000 centrifuges and a clear path to multiple nuclear bombs.
Clear and concise, point by point, making a number of memorable quotes you’ll hear about. One of my favorite lines was “The days when the Jewish people remained passive in the face of genocidal enemies – those days are over.” I can’t find the whole speech on You Tube yet, but here’s some points and wrap ups, including a collection of tweets.

Bibi didn’t criticize Obama – just his Iran plan – but some people hit Obama hard:
I thought it was presumptuous of Obama to assume Congress needs his approval to invite anyone, including a world leader, to speak to them. Who does he think he is, acting like a little punk, not to mention petty but it seems Netanyahu was gracious enough to call Obama after Congress invited him but an hour before it was made public. Obama refused to be mollified.
