Never forget: The only subject taught in most colleges today is Critical Theory, which is Marxist propaganda that simply, but maliciously, criticizes Western Judeo-Christian civilization, especially that of the US, but no other cultures. Nor does it provide realistic alternatives, because the real approved alternative is Marxism. That is too blatant for many colleges and many students but it is also becoming more acceptable to posit.
Start a new college chapter of Young Democratic Socialists and get college credit: http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/19346/Colleges Give Students Academic Credit for Pushing Socialist Causes on Campus. This email message was posted by the USC pol sci dept; the email was later removed but the credit remains:
“As a YDS Leader, you will work alongside Young Democratic Socialists leaders and staff to develop skills in student leadership and learn the fundamental basics of community organizing,” according to the email sent to USC students. “You will make connections with fellow, like-minded DSA/YDS members from across the nation who share your ideals and vision of a society that puts people over profit.”
A goofy Brandeis University lefty named Khadijah Lynch tweeted incredibly hateful anti-cop messages that praised the NYC cop killers and another Brandeis student Daniel Mael drew attention to it on his own tweet. If you think the Brandeis community of students, faculty and administration rallied to support the anti-cop tweeter, you’ve been watching academia. Worse, Brandeis has punished the student who drew attention to the original anti-cop tweets and effectively issued a restraining order to stay clear of Lynch http://freebeacon.com/issues/brandeis-slaps-student-journalist-with-new-punishment/ which was later rescinded upon questioning from news sources but Mael is a pariah on campus now. These people are seriously radicalized, not to mention dumb. Twitter is a public forum and drawing attention to tweets is not “slander.”
It’s likely Khadijah Lynch recognized her ugly tweet went too far but Brandeis failed her by rushing to support her instead of letting her apologize for her rhetoric or at least live with the tweet. This should have been a learning experience for her. Here’s her original tweet followed by the reaction to her and Mael, courtesy of the Daily Caller.
lmao, all i just really dont have sympathy for the cops who were shot. i hate this racist fucking country,” the junior also tweeted.
Another Brandeis student, Daniel Mael, publicized these and other fanatical tweets from Lynch’s then-public Twitter account on Truth Revolt.
On Monday, a throng of angry Brandeis students criticized Mael. Some suggested that the Brandeis administration should punish him for citing Lynch’s public tweets.
Piccione’s lament refers to Lynch telling Truth Revolt that her public tweets are her “own personal opinion.” Lynch had threatened that she does not want her tweets “publicized in any form and if you do not abide my wishes i constitute your disregard as slander.”
Hating our troops is common lefty rhetoric, I heard it in the 60’s too. For socialism/communism/Marxism to take hold here or in any other country, you have to destroy the people’s faith in their institutions, the foundations of their culture. Their religion, their economic system of capitalism, their education system, and especially, their faith in their police and military. You must criticize their culture, their government so much that they feel they cannot defend it. Just look at Britain, look at Europe, look at Scandinavia. It’s easier to start with the young, the colleges. That’s why Bill Ayers and so many other 60’s radicals went there, to work on our young people. http://freebeacon.com/issues/university-instructor-u-s-troops-worse-than-the-islamic-state/
